When I walked into Whole Foods for my usual grocery shopping, I was skeptical that I would be able to find organic hard alcohol. I should have had more faith! As with all of their foods and products, they had plenty of organic alcohol options. 2 flavors of vodka, margarita mix, rum, and tequila. And those are just the ones that I noticed in my 2 minutes of browsing. I selected the certified organic Prairie Vodka which is made in Minnesota. It is made with organic corn and processed in a dedicated distillery with production methods that avoid pollution. Plus the leftover corn cobs and stuff are made into bio-fuel. From now on, I’ll be drinking sustainably (and responsibly).
Deaths door distillery in madison uses wheat grown on washington island, and is also a certified organic grower http://deathsdoorspirits.com/pages/story/story.php
